A graduate of the nursing program at Baptist Health Sciences University in 2010, Smith-Young, who now has a doctor of nursing practice, will discuss the power of using your voice to advocate for better health and touch people’s lives. The free event is open to middle school, high school and college-aged students interested in pursuing careers in science and health care.
