Bainbridge Island Modern Quilt Guild Fall Festival
This popular outdoor show will be held on Saturday, September 12th from 10 am until 4 pm on Winslow Green. This non-juried event is free and open to the public. Last year over 2000 visitors of all ages enjoyed the displays.
The upcoming show will feature two highlight categories: the 2026 Yearly Challenge and our guild’s Sew-along. For the challenge, members pushed their artistic boundaries to interpret the theme of “the natural world.” Meanwhile, the Sew-along invited participants to put their own creative spin on a chosen quilt pattern “Traveler” by Beyond the Reef.
The guild will be raffling the quilt titled “Bloom Chain”-pattern by Heather Black of Quiltachusetts. This quilt was created and assembled by members of the guild. Proceeds will underwrite the costs of the show. Tickets will be available for $2 each at the information booth on festival day. The name of the lucky winner will be drawn at 4 pm.
