Unlike many asanas that prioritize flexibility the Warrior Poses focus on balance, stability, alignment, and inner strength. They are challenging yet fun to explore, teach, and refine. Led by Charlotte Adams, RYT 500. $20
In this workshop focused on Warrior 1, 2, and 3 we will explore:
ï‚· warmups and postures that ready us for delving deeply into the postures
ï‚· associated muscles and alignment cues for practicing and teaching each posture
ï‚· the building blocks for optimal performance and safety
ï‚· associated postures that build on the Warriors
ï‚· the mythology and origin of Virabhadrasana, the Sanskrit name for the poses
ï‚· the steady breath and inner focus of a spiritual warrior
Warrior postures remind us that true strength lies in the ability to stay calm and focused no
matter what life brings. Embodying the warrior’s spirit invites us to overcome life’s obstacles
with grace and strength.
