Avalanche Awareness Class, Presented by the Northwest Avalanche Center
Before recreating in the backcountry this winter head into the Lewis Creek Visitor Center for an Avalanche Awareness class. You’ll learn how to recognize avalanche danger and how to access mountain forecasts from a Northwest Avalanche Center instructor during this introductory course.
This program is best for adults, but children are welcome with accompanying adult(s).
