Exile in Bookville welcomes New York Times bestselling author Daniel Kraus on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m., to discuss his new novel with George A. Romero, Pay the Piper. In 2019, while sifting through the University of Pittsburgh Library's System's George A. Romero Archival Collection, novelist Daniel Kraus turned up a surprise: a half-finished novel called Pay the Piper, a project few had ever heard of. In the years since, Kraus has worked with Romero's estate to bring this unfinished masterwork to light. Pay the Piper is a terrifying tale of supernatural horror set in a cursed Louisiana bayou. Daniel will be joined in conversation with fellow Author Gus Moreno.
This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs at the linked Eventbrite are encouraged. A brief Q&A will follow the talk, and books will be available for sale and signing.
