Aurora Singers 'Meet the Director' Night
Love to sing? Palo Alto’s Aurora Singers, a community choir founded in 1989 and directed by Dawn Reyen, will hold a “Meet the Director” night at the first fall rehearsal. All voice parts, ages (teen and up) and experience levels are welcome, and the group particularly needs first sopranos, tenors and basses.

Launched in 1989, the group specializes in American music, with a repertoire ranging from gospel to jazz to Broadway, as well as winter holiday music from traditional to contemporary. Concerts are held in December and May, with performances for friends and family, as well as outreach concerts at local retirement communities.
The first rehearsal of the season will give prospective members an opportunity to meet the director and learn about the group. There will be a short vocal interview with the director at the conclusion of the rehearsal. No need to bring a prepared piece.
