AUDITIONS 1776 the Musical
1776 was written in 1969 and ran on Broadway for three years, winning three Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Recently presented at Ford's Theatre in DC, we couldn't think of a better show to present during our country's 250th birthday year!
CASTING FOR THESE ROLES:
We are auditioning for lead roles/members of the Continental Congress. The show requires at least 18 male roles, and we will case more tosing the robust and rousing numbers in the show. We also will cast for the roles of Abigail Adams and Martha Jefferson.

HOW TO PREPARE:
Those auditioning for roles in the Contental Congress should come prepared to present two memorized short monologues of their choice from the show cuts on our website (thepickwickplayers.com)
Those auditioning for Abigail Adams or Martha Jefferson should prepare the monologues for those characters posted on our site (thepickwickplayers.com)
Everyone auditioning should prepare 16 measures from a song from the musical. We prefer to hear you sing with background recordings on your device if possible.
