Attend the Take the Lead Berks County event with Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania
Take the Lead will honor four incredible women, and guests will enjoy a one-of-a-kind girl-led ceremony, complete with activities Girl Scouts experience at camp, like soft archery, s'mores and more. A cocktail reception featuring heavy hors d'oeuvres, and of course, Girl Scout cookies, will be followed by a seated program and paddle raise for campership support, helping provide hundreds of Girl Scouts throughout Berks County the opportunity to experience all that camp has to offer with the help of financial aid. 
The Take the Lead Berks County event committee is co-chaired by Susan Fromm, community advocate and Andi Funk, Enersys.
The event will honor the following women leaders:
- Desha Dickson, Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Community Wellness, Tower Health
- Virginia Dodge, CMM, President and Owner, VA Productions, Inc.
- Virginia T. Rush, Vice President, The Wyomissing Foundation
- Adelle L. Schade, MS, M.Ed., Dean of Pre-College and Summer Programs, Albright College; Founder, Total Experience Learning®
