Cara Romero is an American photographer of Chemehuevi descent who examines indigenous life through her dynamic and courageous photographic lens. Her works are celebrated and collected throughout the world in many of the most important museums, galleries and collections of our time. She is currently featured in the National Gallery's exhibit, "The Land Carries Our Ancestors: Contemporary Art by Native Americans."
