Artist Talk with Adam Fung
Join us at 6pm on Wednesday, October 30th for an Artist Talk with Adam Fung.
Currently an Associate Professor of Art at Texas Christian university, Adam Fung works primarily as a painter. He has a dynamic range of research interests and addresses issues such as climate change, landscape, and cosmology. Adam’s work often arises from direct experience and primary sources. Recent examples include the 2016 & 2023 Arctic Circle Artist Residency and Expedition around the archipelago of Svalbard as well as a road trip around West Texas and New Mexico where he visited observatories, Dark Sky Parks, Marfa, and Spaceport America.
Adam received his Master of Fine Arts degree from University of Notre Dame and Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Western Washington University. He also attended Virginia Commonwealth University for Art Foundations.
Adam's exhibition, mystic sea, is currently on view at J. Peeler Howell Fine Art until November 2nd, 2024.
