In this garden drawing experience, learn to scribe illustrations and notes on the flora, fauna, and sounds in the gardens. Be guided through identifying certain elements of the flora, fauna, and natural settings in the rich environment of the Wustum gardens. Take time to draw garden elements close-up while also focusing on the sounds in nature, and discover how field/nature journalists experience a deeper connection with nature and art.
Dress for the outdoors, as entire session occurs outside. Please bring a portable chair, a journal or sketchpad, and desired drawing materials. The museum will provide additional drawing materials, and other supplies needed. Teens 14+ are also welcome.
Online registration closes three business days before class begins. You may also call 262-636-9177 to check for class availability, and to register, Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Classes are held at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine.
