Join the Torch of Wisdom Foundation for ArtEx 2026, a curated gallery crawl and cultural journey through Detroit built around the theme Rhythm → Voice → Story → Legacy.
Guests will travel together by Art Bus to Black-owned galleries and cultural spaces while experiencing visual art, live performance, storytelling, conversation, Black-owned wine tastings, and the journey of art collecting.
Featured participants include trumpeter Allen Dennard, Detroit’s Poet Laureate Jessica Care Moore, storyteller Rochelle Wilson-Ellis, and renowned gallerist George N’Namdi. The experience culminates at the N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art, where George N’Namdi will share his journey and legacy in a featured conversation.
Award-winning journalist Ed Gordon, an Emmy Award and NAACP Image Award recipient, will serve as ArtEx 2026 Honorary Chair.
