Surrounded by Clyfford Still’s expansive body of work, Museum educators will lead participants through the galleries and provide provocations based on art exploration. Your guide will encourage an interactive discussion on the importance of introducing your baby to art at an early age and tips for experiencing art together. We encourage you to let your infant explore, follow their lead, and observe what draws their attention. This experience is the best foundation for discussing and discovering the joy of art together.
The March theme is “Guardians of the Galleries.” A program co-developed by our Chief Conservator, James Squires, we’ll dive into the world of painting conservation. We’ll learn about the science of color and how to keep our paintings beautiful for all to enjoy.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required (you must purchase a Museum admission ticket or register with your CSM membership during online registration).
We suggest arriving 10 minutes early to get your little one and your belongings organized before we begin the program on the Museum’s second floor in The Making Space.
