Arizona Indonesia Festival 2025 Brings Music, Food, and Art to Chandler
Chandler, AZ – Open for the public, this August, the vibrant colors, flavors, and rhythms of Indonesia will come alive in Arizona as AZ IndoFest 2025 takes center stage at the Saigon Center in Chandler. Organized by Kitong Bisa Foundation International Inc., Gekrafs North America, and Asian Festival, this one-of-a-kind celebration will showcase Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage, dynamic creative economy, and burgeoning industries while fostering cross-border collaboration between Arizona and Indonesia.
The festival, set for Sunday, August 24, 2025 (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM), will feature an immersive lineup of performances, culinary demonstrations, business exhibitions, and high-profile appearances by government and industry leaders from both nations.
Attendees of AZ IndoFest 2025 will be treated to an unforgettable immersion into Indonesian culture. The festival’s main stage will come alive with the electrifying beats of dangdut music from Indonesia’s beloved superstar Angel. Meanwhile, world-class saxophonist Charles Hutapea will captivate audiences with a musical performance, blending Indonesian melodies with contemporary flair. For those drawn to the power and grace of traditional martial arts, the U.S. Sport Silat Association will demonstrate the dynamic movements of Pencak Silat, Indonesia’s centuries-old combat art. Last but not least, Don't miss a live cooking demo by Indonesia's celebrity chef, serving up authentic flavors and culinary secrets offering mouthwatering dishes and insights into the nation’s rich traditions. AZ IndoFest 2025 promises a feast for all senses, from music to martial arts to flavors!
During the Expo, AZ IndoFest 2025 will host a panel on the landscape of the Indonesian creative economy. This panel discussion features Former Advisor and Special Staff to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Chairman of the International Trade Committee of the Arizona House of Representatives, and Indonesia’s top Trade diplomat in Washington, D.C.
AZ IndoFest 2025 will feature high-profile guests, including Indonesia's Deputy Speaker of Congress, the National Creative Economy Movement President, a Presidential Advisor, Arizona's International Trade Committee Chairman, Chandler's Mayor, honorary consuls of friendly nations, and CEOs of top Arizona companies, highlighting the event's importance for cultural and business exchange.
Following the public festivities, an exclusive, invite-only Gala Dinner will host dignitaries, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to foster deeper cultural and economic ties. This festival aims to unite young, cosmopolitan, and business-minded communities to experience Indonesia’s rich traditions and future-forward industries to create new conversations and collaborative pathways across borders.
AZ IndoFest 2025 is supported by Indonesia's Embassy in D.C. and Indonesia’s Consulate in Los Angeles, CA, along with the Arizona House of Representatives. Freeport McMoRan, KBF International Group, Global Resources Indonesia, and Rivotto further bolster this cultural initiative, facilitating meaningful connections between Indonesia and Arizona.
