During this “Windows to El Paso” workshop, high school students will be introduced to the fundamentals of architectural design and will connect these concepts to the built history that surrounds them. Over the span of the sessions, participants will explore architecture through design thinking, historical research, and spatial storytelling. In addition to walking tours of Downtown El Paso and visits to working architectural firms, students can expect to come away with basic concepts of spatial design, including how to define rooms and assemble simple algorithms to generate architectural form...
