Aptos: World's Shortest Parade
This year’s parade Grand Marshal is Zach Friend, 2nd District Supervisor, honored for his years of dedication to our community.
The parade begins at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Soquel Drive and State Park Drive and ends at Parade Ave. The Chamber is asking the community to be the judges for this year’s parade. This year’s T-shirt showcases Winston and Nutmeg, the pets of the owners of Aptos Feed & Pet Supply, who have generously donated pet goodie bags/water to animal participants for over 25 years. You can purchase the T-shirts for $20 at the Aptos Chamber of Commerce, Aptos Feed, Deluxe Foods and The Farm Bakery & Cafe.
The party in Aptos Village Park runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with activities for the whole family including games, food, beverages, craft vendors, and dancing to the band James Durbin and The Lost Boys for a $5 donation. Happy Independence Day!
