The event is free and open to the public to attend. Concessions and parking available on-site. This is a great family friendly event to bring the world of robotics to life and have your kids experience a competition like they have never seen before. The FIRST Robotics Competition combines the excitement of sports with the rigor of science and technology. Student built, industrial size robots compete in a fast paced game that changes every year, challenging teams to apply engineering, programming, problem solving, and teamwork... Throughout the weekend, teams will participate in qualification matches and playoff rounds, while also being evaluated on outreach, innovation, and inspiration efforts. In addition to robot matches, the event will feature pit displays where students explain their designs to judges, sponsors, and visitors.
