Anythink Brighton Garden Party
Anythink Brighton is inviting the community to celebrate its newest gathering space with a free Garden Party marking the grand opening of the library’s newly transformed outdoor porch and patio.
Following a garland-cutting ceremony and dedication, neighbors can explore the new courtyard while enjoying live acoustic music, tea party treats, summer festivities and a live painter capturing the celebration.
The renovation transforms a previously underused outdoor area into a welcoming extension of the Brighton library, with new gardens, custom curved benches and seating nooks, flexible café-style tables, enhanced lighting and distinctive sliding bookshelf-style gates inspired by the branch’s architecture.
Designed for visitors of all ages, the new courtyard will provide additional space for relaxing, connecting with neighbors and participating in library programs ranging from Story Times and educational activities to larger community events. Renovations to the adjacent conference room also added full-height windows and glass doors, allowing programs to flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The Garden Party is free and open to the community.
