Philadelphia Senior Center (PSC), and Independence Blue Cross, celebrate the holidays with the “2nd Annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Bazaar,” on Saturday, December 6, 2008, from 9am – 5pm, at PSC Main Branch, 509 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147. The celebration includes arts and craft vendors, flea market tables, entertainment, a roast beef dinner, and free hourly door prizes. Bazaar admission is free. The first 200 guests receive a free fleece blanket courtesy of Independence Blue Cross. Live entertainment starts at 10am with music from the sing-a-long groups from PSC Tioga Branch and the PSC Coffee Cup Satellite. At lunchtime, guitarist Chris Hall and piano player Lois Kukcinovich will perform. The highlight of the bazaar will be the holiday concert at 2pm, featuring the “Sounds of Independence,” the Independence Blue Cross Employee Chorus. The PSC Main Branch Chorus will open the concert. After the show, there will be a community dinner with roast beef, gravy, twice-baked potatoes, glazed carrots, bread, salad, dessert, and beverages.
