Annual Butterfly Count - Grab a Net and Join Us! Saturday, July 12 @9:00-11:30 AM at PPG Monroeville
The 25th Annual Butterfly Count will be held on the grounds of the PPG Monroeville Business & Technology Center located at 440 College Park Drive, Monroeville. Doors open at 8:30am so please plan to arrive before 9:00 am for check-in. Members of the PPG Wildlife Team will provide a brief orientation. You'll also hear from Dan the Beekeeper (Deez Beez) and June the Butterfly Lady, as well as PPG Wildlife team members who will provide other educational offerings (Pennsylvania Entomology Collection and How to start a Pollinator Garden).
A limited number of butterfly nets will be available. Participants are encouraged to bring their own net, if possible, as well as to wear light colored clothing , bring a hat as it may be hot, and apply bug spray/sunscreen! Cold water, light refreshments, crafts and door prizes will be available following the count. Event is scheduled to conclude by 11:30 am.

Please register all children and adults by July 9th for planning purposes.
