Game on! WestFax Brewing Company is kicking off a massive 2023 by celebrating seven years on Colfax with a weekend of beer releases, live music, food trucks, vintage video games, and new merch releases from Friday, March 10th through Sunday, March 12th.
“We want to celebrate the community that made this milestone anniversary possible,” said Anthony Martuscello, founder of WestFax Brewing. “We’re excited to unveil new beers that showcase the talent of head brewer Evan Beggs, while also bringing back some fan favorites.”
Friday beer releases will include Party Time American Light Lager, Beta Wave Imperial Stout aged in a Laws Whiskey House San Luis Valley Rye barrel, and Concussion Protocol, a Belgian Quad aged in a FourSquare Rum barrel. In addition, special cellar releases will be available for sale, and popular food truck ShaWING will be serving up Buffalo bar food favorites like Roast Beef on Weck and, of course, Buffalo Wings. ShaWING has been WestFax Brewing’s official Buffalo Bills watch party partner since the beginning, and will also be celebrating their seventh anniversary.
Saturday beer releases include Asphalt Cowboy DDH Hazy IPA, Checkpoint Triple Hazy IPA, Banana Split Smoothie Sour, Hasta La Vista Vienna Lager, and Turnip The Beet Small Batch Saison. The Awkward Handshakes and Cottonwood Drifters will perform from 2 pm-5 pm and 5:30 pm-8:30 pm respectively, and the 5280 Burger Truck will be on hand with a variety of pub food options.
Sunday will be a relaxing recovery day with a Michelada Bar and Brut Mosas to go with brunch from The Basted Egg food truck.
Throughout the weekend WestFax Brewing’s on-site private event space will plug into the flux capacitor to transport the brewery back in time with a retro arcade pop-up in partnership with Level 7 Games. Play nostalgic favorites like Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario Bros, Pacman, and many more, all free to play all weekend long. Level 7 will also be on-site selling additional games on Saturday, and WestFax 2023 Loyalty Club Memberships and brand-new brewery apparel will be available for purchase while supplies last.
