Lighthouse Youth Theatre is thrilled to announce our 10th production & first show of the 2025 season: Annie! Based on Little Orphan Annie, the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide sensation. Winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, this beloved show features a wonderful score written by Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, including the Broadway smash hits, “Tomorrow” and “It’s A Hard-Knock Life.”
Set in 1933, Annie tells the story of a young girl who lives in an orphanage run by the tough Miss Hannigan. One day, when billionaire Oliver Warbucks invites Annie to spend Christmas at his mansion, a special bond ends up developing between them. As Annie embarks on a quest to find her real parents, the musical touches on themes of resilience, optimism, and the power of kindness.
