ann annie w/ ZOLA and Adobo
ann annie is the stage name for Portland based composer Eli Goldberg. They began their musical career creating ambient soundscapes with a collection of synthesizers and a tape machine. Over the years, they have brought in various acoustic sounds into their compositions, most recently incorporating classical instruments into the upcoming album "The Wind". This show will be performed with 4-piece ensemble including saxophone, guitar, piano, clarinet, cello and modular synth.
They are joined by solo guitarist Adobo who uses an array of pedals and highly technical playing to create a beautiful mirage of guitar sounds.
The local singer/songwriter ZOLA performing a deeply moving and intimate folk style guitar will also be joining the show performing with a banjo and acoustic guitar.
