ANCIENT HEALING WISDOM FOR MODERN TIMES MEDICINE BUDDHA WORKSHOP WITH LAMA GESHE LOBSANG TSETEN SATURDAY, MARCH 18. 10 am - 5 pm Non violence, Four Immeasurables and Medicine Buddha history and healing wisdom explained, lunch break 12-2 on the teaching grounds followed by quided meditation, instruction and Q/A session. FRIDAY, MARCH 24. 10 am - 6 pm Medicine Buddha meditation, and Q/A session followed by lunch break 12-2 on the teaching grounds and completing with interactive mandala explanation and healing practice instruction with Lama Geshe Lobsang. Lama Geshe Lobsang Tseten was leading a group of Tibetan Lamas who constructed a sand mandala of Great Compassion at the U of A eight years ago. Geshe is a professor at ancient Drepung Gomang College founded in 14th century in Tibet, and after Chinese occupation relocated to South India in order to preserve its original ancient tradition. Apart from teaching and mandala construction world tours Geshe Lobsang leads a project of building a primary school for girls in his native Zanskar region of Ladakh, which is complete now, and was appointed by HH the Dalai Lama to lead building of The Nalanda Institute Extension building in the same region of Western Tibet . He will update us on these important projects in preservation of Tibetan culture, nature and lifestyle. It would be best to attend both days and all four sessions of this rare self-help seminar, however one day or even one session will bring inspiring effects and healing insight from this kind teacher. Suggested donation is $80 for the entire seminar, $40 per day or $20 per session; however any donation will be appreciated and applied towards building projects mentioned above. Lunch on the teaching grounds is a potluck-based sharing of the food in the adjacent garden patio with convenient kitchen facilities. Tea will be provided.
