ANAHEIM PLAZA INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO WATCH ‘BIG WALL’ ARTIST KAYLA NEWNAM CREATE AN ON-SITE MURAL

Anaheim Plaza, an open-air shopping center just minutes from the Disneyland Resort, Angel Stadium and Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California (https://anaheimplaza.shopkimco.com), invites the community to witness a special live event as “Big Wall” artist Kayla Newnam creates a mural live at the center between June 9th and June 16th during regular business hours along the large, turquoise-painted wall near TJ Maxx and the garden walkway that faces Rubio’s. The theme of the mural will be “Dream Big” with larger-than-life vibrant bougainvillea flowers and butterflies in a whimsical design. As part of her “Out There Murals” cross-country mural project (https://www.kaylanewnam.com/out-there-murals), Newnam is traveling in her “art camper” to create large-scale art installations in all 50 states. Anaheim Plaza is pleased to host Newnam for her California installation, the 19th in her cross-country tour. During the event, attendees are encouraged to take photos of the artwork in production (bring your own camera). This event is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required.
