Amplify Nashville highlights immigrants who have made significant contributions to Nashville and individuals who are champions of the city’s international community. The event celebrates the entrepreneurial innovation, cultural diversity, and vibrant spirit immigrants and refugees bring to their adopted home.
This year’s honorees include: Farzin Ferdowsi for his wide-reaching impact through his family-run company, MRCO, and his philanthropic efforts throughout Nashville; Marlen Santana Perez for her work providing expert legal advice to immigrants as a practicing attorney and licensed mental health professional; and Nashville Soccer Club for bringing diverse people together through the love of the world's sport and fostering a sense of belonging for immigrants and refugees in Nashville.Â
Amplify Nashville is presented by Siloam Health, a comprehensive, whole-person health care organization that combines medical care, community health, and student education to serve thousands of uninsured, underserved, and culturally marginalized individuals from all over the world. With patients that hail from over 80 homelands and speak more than 50 languages, Siloam Health has been a trusted partner for the immigrant communities in Nashville for more than 30 years and continues to empower neighbors from all nations to lead physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy lives.
