Amanda Mole Organ Recital
Third Baptist Church welcomes acclaimed concert organist Amanda Mole for a free public recital on Sunday, October 26 at 3:00 p.m. The program will feature organ masterworks and brilliant transcriptions by Felix Mendelssohn, Herbert Howells, J. S. Bach, Jehan Alain, Franz Liszt, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Renowned for her dazzling technique and musical insight, Mole brings a compelling program that spans Baroque to 20th-century color, showcasing the expressive range of Third’s pipe organ. The instrument has 4 manuals and 72 ranks, and is one of the largest fully-functional pipe organs in the city of St. Louis.
Third Baptist is celebrating it's 175th year in St. Louis with a series of celebrations throughout the year. All are welcome; no tickets or reservations are required. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the performance.
