STUFF THE TRUCK
Presented by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® — Kappa Lambda Omega Chapter
In Partnership with Goodwill Middle Tennessee
Leading with Purpose. Serving with Excellence.
For over 51 years, the women of Kappa Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® have been a steadfast pillar of the Nashville community. Chartered on January 25, 1975, Kappa Lambda Omega Chapter has never wavered in its commitment to the women who wear the pink and green, or to the city they call home. On Saturday, June 6, 2026, Kappa Lambda Omega Chapter extends that legacy with Stuff the Truck — a community-wide donation drive in proud partnership with Goodwill Middle Tennessee, calling all of Nashville to give generously, show up boldly, and invest in the future of our neighbors.
Who We Are
Kappa Lambda Omega Chapter is one of Nashville's most distinguished alumnae chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® — the nation's first Black Greek-lettered sorority, founded in 1908 at Howard University. Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Letha Woods, Chapter President, Kappa Lambda Omega Chapter continues to carry forward the Sorority's timeless mandate: Service to All Mankind.
Kappa Lambda Omega Chapter actively advances all six of the Sorority's program initiatives throughout Middle Tennessee — Strengthen Our Sisterhood, Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice, and Uplift Our Local Community. Stuff the Truck is a living expression of every one of those commitments — a single event that uplifts families, protects the environment, builds community wealth, and demonstrates what it means to serve.

Why Goodwill Middle Tennessee
Kappa Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is proud to partner with Goodwill Middle Tennessee — an organization whose mission aligns directly with the Sorority's commitment to economic empowerment and community uplift. Goodwill changes lives through education, job training, and employment placement, creating pathways to independence for individuals who face significant barriers to work. When Nashville donates gently used items, those goods generate revenue that directly funds life-changing programs right here in our city.
This is not simply a donation drive. This is an investment in Middle Tennessee's workforce, families, and future.
