ALOHA STADIUM SWAP MEET & MARKETPLACE 45TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

OVERVIEW The Aloha Stadium Swap meet celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2024 and we are honoring the swap meets 4 decade long history with a series of 4 celebratory events. Last month we celebrated the 80’s with a roller skate rink and 80’s style aerobic exercise classes. This month, were celebrating the 90’s on August 25th, 2024. Located in front of the main box office and volcano statue, we are curating a special celebration zone featuring a mix of nostalgic finds, boutique small vendors, games, entertainment, local food vendors, and a beer garden ACTIVATIONS SCAVENGER HUNT 250 lucky people searched high and low for a golden ticket and was rewarded with a limited edition 45th Anniversary tote bag. This month, the search for golden tickets continues with a brand new commemorative item. Tickets will be hidden throughout the Swap Meet with select vendors that have ties to the 90’s. Guests who find a ticket can trade that ticket in at the information booth located in the celebration zone. This months commemorative item is the second prize in the set and complements last months prize. If you are lucky enough to collect all 4 prizes, you can combine them to create your own, unique, one of kind commemorative item celebrating the 45th Anniversary of the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet. SHOP AND PAINT Leave your mark at Aloha Stadium by painting your very own seat back from Aloha Stadium. Included in this activation is an authentic Aloha Stadium Seat back from Oahu Auctions and art lessons by POW WOW’s Gary Draws Fish and other guests artists throughout the day. Post your creation and tag @alohastadiumhi and @freespiritshawaii for a chance to win prizes from some of our retail vendors. BOUTIQUE VENDORS Small brands, big style. From shorts to shoes, from local brands to hard to find name brand items; New vendors will be offering premium quality items not usually found at the swap meet. There will also be themed vendors showcasing 90’s themed items. COMMEMORATIVE ITEMS The event will feature commemorative items from Oahu Auctions as well as commemorative tote bags and bag patches designed specifically for the event. ENTERTAINMENT LIVE ART Through the celebration zone, some of Hawaii’s most talented artists will be putting their talents on display by creating art before your very eyes. Guests will also be encouraged to vote on submitted art work for a chance to win prizes from some of our retail vendors. MUSIC Music and entertainment from the 90’s. FOOD AND BEVERAGE BEER GARDEN Beer, wine, and specialty cocktails by Free Spirits Hawaii. Water and RTD coffee by Waiakea Volcanic Beverages. FOOD VENDORS From poke bowls to local snacks, new food vendors will be showcasing their culinary creations by offering items not usually found at the swap meet.
