aliveOne Hosts 27th Anniversary Party with FREE Live Music
aliveOne, the Lincoln Park neighborhood bar that combines the very best of music and spirits, will celebrate its 27th anniversary on Thursday, November 16. With their name inspired by the 100 CD all-live music jukebox in the front room (Chicago’s only live jukebox), aliveOne opened in December 1996 at the corner of Schubert and Halsted.
To celebrate its status as a long-standing “music mecca”, aliveOne will throw a 27th anniversary bash with a Stone Brewing Tap Takeover and a FREE show from Thursday night resident band Bonzo Squad along with special guests beginning at 9:30 p.m.
aliveOne will host a fundraiser throughout the evening collecting new and gently used coats and canned food items for Chi-Care. Additionally, $1 from every Stone Brewing beer sold will also be donated to the charity. Guests who arrive early will enjoy a half-off everything (except shots) happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. aliveOne will also have new merch commemorating the anniversary for sale featuring long-sleeve shirts that will highlight their past resident bands.
