Join the State Historical Society of Iowa, in partnership with the Des Moines Book Festival and Beaverdale Books, for a special keynote presentation by New York Times bestselling author and award-winning presidential historian Alexis Coe—one of the festival’s four headlining presenting authors.
On Saturday, March 22, at Noon at the Franklin Event Center, Coe will present "Frenemies: How George Washington and the Founding Fathers Rallied Around a Cause—Until They Couldn’t." The discussion following the 40-minute keynote will be moderated by SHSI's own Rachel Hansen.
