ALEX MEFFERT QUARTET
Alex Meffert is a saxophonist living in Saint Paul. Since graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, Alex has maintained a busy playing schedule and formed the quartet in early 2023. This quartet features both standard jazz repertoire and newer songs by living composers. For this show we will be highlighting the music of two major influences of the band: Joe Lovano and Jerry Bergonzi.
Quartet members are: Alex Meffert (saxophone), Patrick Adkins (piano), Ben Ehrlich (drums), and Ted Olsen (bass).
