Albuquerque Concert Band Bruce Kroken Scholarship Award Concert!
Spring has sprung, the warmth is bliss
This is a concert, you won't want to miss!
Please join the Albuquerque Concert Band on Sunday, April 7th, 3PM, as we perform a very special concert. This concert will feature the 2024 Bruce Kroken Scholarship winner performing their award-winning solo. Each year the ACB awards a $1500 scholarship to a New Mexico High School senior who is involved with their high school music program.
We will also be playing a tribute tune for rescue pets. Band members' fur family will be on display on the screen behind the band.
This will be our conductor, John Sanks, last concert as the conductor of the Albuquerque Concert Band before he joins the band as a member of the trombone section.
Come on over to the Eldorado HS PAC, 11300 Montgomery Blvd NE, to cheer on the talented young winner of the scholarship, pay tribute to our resue pets, and wish our conductor well in his new role as a member of the ACB!
