In “Grid Luck” Alberto Aguilar reimagines the museum with new site-specific works created with existing materials within the space. providing a new perspective on often overlooked possibilities. Ranging from archival promotional videos and posters, a rolodex of internet sites from 1997, to the CCMA’s permanent art collection and student portraits, Alberto utilizes the grid as an expansive and generative tool, offering a fresh take on traditional artmaking.
