Albany 1st Friday Swing Dance w/ Eight to the Bar
* 7-8pm - Swing Dance Lesson with Tom / Tamara Russell. No partner needed.
* 8-10:30pm - Dance to Eight to the Bar
Cost: $20 General, $15 Student, 65+ Senior, DFO Member
EIGHT TO THE BAR draws its musical influences from American roots music - swing, boogie woogie, rhythm & blues, soul, Motown & jazz. Eight to the Bar is known for its outstanding instrumentalists and sophisticated musical and vocal arrangements, highlighted by female vocals. Voted best band multiple times.
Plan on doing a Shim Sham and a Snowball dance. This is a great first dance.
