In this panel discussion hosted by Community Television and the Santa Cruz Public Libraries we will discuss the following:
How will AI improve drug discovery? Can discovery be sped up, costs reduced and many more diseases find cures?
How will AI affect diagnostic testing? Will AI “experts” improve health outcomes in rural and developing areas around the world?
Will AI improve accuracy of diagnoses, since they can now be based on a wide array of patient data?
Will AI give us a new way to take symptom-checking into our own hands? Will those with chronic health conditions get new tools for their issues?
Will AI not only diagnose but also assist in creating highly personalized treatment plans? AI can process and analyze multi-modal patient data, including genetic information, lifestyle factors, and medical histories.
Will AI reduce medical costs? AI can quickly and aggressively code procedures and file claims.
