AHA! Night - Summer in the Seaport
Summer nights are always worth celebrating here in downtown New Bedford! So, join us on Thursday, August 8th for AHA! Night: Summer in the Seaport. There is something for everyone at this free, family-friendly event, including music, art, tours, and so much more:
- Explore the Schooner Ernestina-Morrissey and learn about her storied past.
- Tour our working waterfront with the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center.
- Dance the night away during live music performances by Manny Escobar, Freeze Pops, Jim Kelly, and more!
- Check out the art of breakdancing at 3rdEyE Youth Empowerment’s 5 Pillars of Hip Hop, featuring live demos, a DJ, and a fashion show by Tour Lords.
- Paint seashells with August AHA! Night sponsor Taunton Federal Credit Union.
- Visit museums, galleries, and shops open late, including a pop-up art market outside The Drawing Room.
- Plus, art exhibits, crafts, face painting, robots, and more being added to our schedule every day
