Aglow International Goodyear Lighthouse Monthly Meeting
Our speaker will be Peggy Clements, a lifelong “God-seeker”. She accepted Jesus when she was 8 years old and from then on has longed to know God better. Peggy married a military man, and for 23 years she taught Sunday school and Bible studies wherever they were stationed, but she longed for more.
At age 28, her “heart’s cry” was answered, and she was baptized in the Holy Spirit after reading a book titled “The Holy Spirit and You”.
Surprisingly, she found herself longing for even more! Within a year she began hearing Bible teaching that was different
from anything else she had heard. She learned that God and His Word are one and that she could come to know God more
by coming to know His Word. THIS was God’s answer to her heart’s cry!
It’s been 50 years, but Peggy still hungers and thirsts for intimacy with God. She has lived in the Phoenix area for over
twenty years and continues to share God’s Word whenever and wherever she is given an opportunity, whether it be at
Women’s Aglow meetings, or in homes and churches (including The River, Peggy’s home church located in
Goodyear, Arizona). Peggy rejoices when she has an opportunity to invite others to join her in getting to know God better!
