Adrian West Band
Adrian West Band returns to The Fourth Bore Taproom & Grill in Orinda! Five-piece band! We'll play a fun mix of originals, instrumentals and covers + a couple jazz tunes. Free show from 7 to 10pm. All ages welcome.

Oakland-based Adrian West Band is an up-to-five-piece acoustic rock ensemble that plays catchy originals, fun instrumentals, the odd cover song and a little jazz. To some they sound like a cross between Paul Simon and Talking Heads.
Adrian's approach to songwriting is: music/arrangement first, lyrics second. He likes his songs to stand on their own musically, so if you replaced all the singing with nose flutes or glockenspiels the song would still stand on its own. (Fun fact: Paul Simon and David Byrne work pretty much the same way). Adrian has a knack for setting thoughtful lyrics to uplifting music. Whether telling a silly story or grappling with some challenge facing humanity, Adrian's lyrics are fueled by equal parts hope, clear-eyed realism and lighthearted whimsy.
