Admissions Open House- LV Charter High School for the Arts
This event is designed for prospective students and families to learn more about the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (Charter Arts) curriculum and admissions process. Guests will also have the chance to attend sessions with the school's artistic directors, tour the school and watch student performances. RSVP at CharterArts.org.
Charter Arts is an audition-based public charter school that provides a comprehensive curriculum for high school students, grades 9-12, who have a passion and dedication for the creative or performing arts. Students major in one of seven artistic areas: dance, instrumental music, literary arts, production arts, theatre, visual arts, or vocal music. Any student entering 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grades who resides in Pennsylvania is eligible to audition.
Charter Arts, opened in 2003, offers a rigorous curriculum that fosters both academic and artistic excellence for its students. The school’s impressive Future Ready PA Index ranking, Advanced Placement (AP) exam statistics, Keystone Exam statistics, SAT scores, prestigious artistic accolades, and graduation rate, are testaments to the outstanding education that Charter Arts provides. The school was ranked in the Top 100 Public High Schools in PA on U.S. News & World Report's 2024 Best Schools Rankings.
