Adelante Winds premieres Jack Stone Award-winning compositions
Adelante Winds will premiere this year's award-winning compositions by community college composers as part of a full-length concert. Reception to follow. The winner of the 2026 Jack Stone Award for New Music is "Life's Rite" by Isaac Facio of Mesa Community College. The runners-up are "Flakes of Hope" by Michael Crumpton of College of Central Florida and "This Garden of Reverie" by Tylor M. Watkins of Grand Rapids Community College.
