ACE - The Council of Nicaea After 1700 Years: Why Does It Still Matter?
The Council of Nicaea, held in 325 AD, was the first ecumenical council of the Christian Church, It resulted in the production of the Nicene Creed that is professed by Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant Christians to this day. This lecture will explore the historical context of the Council and the doctrinal content of the Creed that became the cornerstone of Christian orthodoxy.
