ACE Historic Spanish Point Photo Experience (incl admission)
Historic Spanish Point offers photographers a plethora of opportunities to capture that perfect photo. Between Sarasota and Venice lies one of the most important prehistoric and historic sites in Florida. Occupied by Native Americans 5,000 years ago, Historic Spanish Point includes a rare prehistoric shell ring along the shores of Little Sarasota Bay and a ceremonial burial mound. Osprey pioneer John Webb and his family homesteaded the site 150 years ago and welcomed friends, visitors, and scientists to Webb’s Winter Resort. The site includes the restored home and boatyard of Capt. Frank Guptill, a reconstructed pioneer chapel, and gardens created by Mrs. Potter Palmer. * Registration includes admission to Historic Spanish Point.
