ACE – Bike Maintenance Basics (incl some mat'l) (bring your bike & helmet)
This class is an introduction to general bicycle mechanics and covers the maintenance procedures needed to tune up your bike. It is designed for casual riders and beginners with no mechanical experience. Bring your own bike to use for the class. You will learn how to adjust brakes and gears and other on-the-road fixes. We will discuss which tools, which lube, and what soap is best to give your bike a proper bath. You will also learn "bike fit" for optimal comfort. Some of the class is lecture based, but be prepared to get your hands dirty!
