ABRUPTIO - Drive-In Premiere
On Thursday, October 10, Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre proudly presents the East Coast theatrical (and drive-in) premiere of ABRUPTIO. James Marsters, Hana Mae Lee, Christopher McDonald, Jordan Peele, Robert Englund, and the late great Sid Haig all star in this absolutely mind-boggling thriller featuring astounding and artfully uncanny puppetry!
We've teamed up with our new friends at Anchor Bay Entertainment (yes they're back) to bring a splash of indie greatness to our drive-in screen this fall! Abruptio has made Harper Bazaar's Best Horror Films of 2024, along with a slew of accolades for its unique style and practical puppet wizardry. This is the premiere horror enthusiasts will not want to miss.
About the film: Les Hackel (James Marsters) is a guy down on his luck who wakes to find an explosive device has been implanted in his neck. He must carry out heinous crimes in order to stay alive while trying to identify the mastermind manipulating the now twisted and strange world around him.
