A New Era for Psychedelics at CIIS
On November 1, 2024, Dr. Janis Phelps, Director of the Center for Psychedelic Therapies and Research at the California Institute of Integral Studies, will be joined by CIIS faculty Dr. Nick Walker and Dr. Jason Butler for a transformative panel discussion about the phenomenal mainstreaming of psychedelics and the future of the field, particularly research, training, and clinical care. The discussion will be led by New York Times Correspondent Ernesto Londoño, author of Trippy: The Promise and Perils of Medicinal Psychedelics, and will include a reading, riveting conversation, and Q&A to follow.
The event will be held in person at the First Unitarian Universalist Church & Center in San Francisco, as well as live streamed.
