6th Annual St. Augustine Plein Air Paint Out

Artists and art lovers are invited to the 6th Annual St. Augustine Plein Air Paint Out in the nation's oldest city. This event, a nod to St. Augustine's art history, celebrates the town's architectural and coastal beauty through the time-honored tradition of painting en plein air (outdoors).
Artists will be painting in and around St. Augustine at notable locations. In addition to watching the artists paint on location, observers can visit the St. Augustine Art Association's gallery to see (or buy) works-in-progress and finished paintings–22 Marine Street in downtown St. Augustine. The gallery will be open 9am-5pm during the Paint Out. Most events during the Paint Out are free to attend unless noted otherwise. Visit our website for complete details.
PAINT OUT EVENTS FOR EVERYONE:
• April 27 - Preview St. Augustine Fashion Week and kick off the Paint Out with Street Art and Fashion | 10:30am at the Villa Zorayda; 2pm at the St. Augustine Art Association
• April 29 - History of Plein Air in St. Augustine presentation and painting demo | 12:00pm at the St. Augustine Art Association; $30 registration, includes lunch
• May 1 - Closing Party at Dog Rose Brewing Co. | 12-2:30pm
• May 6-29 - Plein Air Exhibit at the St. Augustine Art Association | View the completed works from the Paint Out in this month-long exhibit.
All art sales benefit the artists and programming of the St. Augustine Art Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1924. The 6th Annual St. Augustine Plein Air Paint Out is funded in part by grants from the Community Foundation of Northeast Florida Crisp-Ellert fund and the St. Johns County Tourist Development Council.
