Marks Of Art This workshop spans two sessions: Wednesday July 15, 6-8pm and Thursday July 16, 6-8pm $110 Instructor: Sholo Beverly *Class is limited to 8 participants. Marks Of Art In the first session, you'll create original handmade works from start to finish using shared mark making tools and various media. The second session will culminate in a multimedia self-portrait! "Let's get CREATIVITY flowing and trust in your marks of art Mark making is a meditative flow for creating art without boundaries or rules. We will tackle trusting your process without setting expectations, proving some of your best art will come from your mistakes. In the two sessions, we will experiment with unexpected materials and technique that will lead to our final self-portrait piece." -- Sholo Beverly Materials to bring : 1 Sketchpad of mixed media paper 2 Drawing media (pencil, pen, pastel, conte or charcoal, etc.) 10 Common items from home that could be used for Mark Making (this could be Q-Tips, a comb, bubble wrap, corks, toothpicks, leaves or any other unique material you can think of) Please Note: Due to high demand and limited space, participant cancellations must be made no later than one (1) week prior to the workshop. Workshops may be cancelled by 6311arts if enrollment minimums are not reached. You will be notified at least three (3) days prior to the scheduled start date should cancellation and a full refund become necessary.
