50th Anniversary Free Day | Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium
Celebrate 50 years of community science discovery at the Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium with a special free community day, made possible by the generous support of the Armstrong MacDonald Family Foundation. Guests of all ages can explore Flandrau’s hands-on science exhibits, including Universe of Science, Wild World of Bugs, Undersea Discovery, Fossil Corner, and a temporary History of Flandrau exhibit. Step into the planetarium for hourly shows featuring family-friendly films and live star talks, with free tickets available only in person on the day of the event on a first-come, first-served basis. Interactive activities in our classrooms let visitors investigate how scientists discover distant worlds and search for life beyond Earth, offering a fun, engaging look at the science that has inspired Tucson for 50 years.
