48th San Francisco Comedy Competition with Kabir “Kabeezy” Singh
The 48th San Francisco Comedy Competition returns to Orinda, this time on a Saturday night with 15 new comics competing to advance to the Semifinals. Only five advance, the rest walk home.
Round Two has comedians from around the world, some of them making their first appearance in the United States. Journey back to the vaudeville days of yore with this wild night of comedy.
Our host is former winner Kabir “Kabeezy” Singh, one of the fastest rising Stand-Up Comedians in the USA headlining nights at some of the most famous clubs in California including the Hollywood Improv, Hollywood Laugh Factory, Long Beach Laugh Factory, San Francisco Punchline, Cobbs, and selling out many other clubs all over America.
The San Francisco Comedy Competition is one of the most prestigious comedy events in North America, launching the careers of people like Patton Oswalt, Robin Williams and Ellen DeGeneres. It’s an outrageously funny evening, where you will see the comedy stars of tomorrow competing for their chance at fame and fortune. Hundreds of comedians audition each year to compete. Only 32 are chosen.
